Jon Eirik Lundberg, as one of the few curators in the Nordics, has worked actively to promote censored and disgraced art in recent years. In this book, he shows that the biggest threat to curatorial freedom is an activist bureaucracy that manages public funding and staffs artists' organizations. Jon Eirik Lundberg is a master in political philosophy, author and director of Læsø Kunsthal. His exhibitions on "political art" have been visited by approx. 30,000 visitors. He has presented works by artists from China, Korea, Yemen, Iran, Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, England, USA, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
