With six different covers, this volume contains a selection of contemporary Brazilian photography, cinema and video comprised of seven works developed by artists Bárbara Wagner, Jonathas de Andrade, Sofia Borges, Letícia Ramos and collectives Mídia Ninja and Garapa, who were invited to produce works that involved the social conflicts that have emerged in Brazil in recent years. The theme of the exhibition is the use of the body as an instrument of social representation and political action whether through its physical and symbolic presence in public spaces, or as an expression of individuality. The catalogue is divided in six parts accordingly to the artists.
