- Inhalt: The volume is the catalogue of the Lebanese Pavilion at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, the first national participation of Lebanon in the Architecture Biennale. The attention of practitioners is focused on built objects, and hardly on open spaces and unbuilt territory? on the space between things: The Place That Remains It is an assessment of our territory, an identification of what remains, and a reflection on the built environment through an inventory of the unbuilt land. The project implicitly reveals the urban pattern, between the lines, within the blanks of the built etching. It draws the powerful inverted image that hosts the telluric forces of the territory. This place that still remains is the place that would host our dreams and expectations. It is a precious resource for creating a meaningful territory.
